First Things First

I want to start by saying that this is Goin Nice's first actual feature. I had this vision a long time ago, and it's taken far too long for this time to come. And, I'm glad it's of one of the cars that I really have a passion for, unlike most.

The tC gets a lot of hate from the community as a whole. It's Front Wheel Drive, and not that fast from the factory. And it's one of those cars that gets marketed as a "sports car", and because of this, it really doesn't get that much respect. But what a lot of people don't understand, is the potential of the 2AZ. This little 2.4L can become a monster when you spend the money and get the right parts. And that's exactly what James is doing.

James drives a 2006 Scion tC RS2.0. (for those of you that don't know what the RS means, it stands for Release Series, which really just translates to Limited Edition) There were only 2600 of these cars produced. And there are some people that feel that being a RS car, that you shouldn't mod it. Whatever…. James isn't one of those people. He slapped on the Dezod S2 turbo kit, along with Dezods turbo exhaust, to make 357 HP. I just love the sound of that turbo spooling and the PSSHHHH! of the blow off valve.

James also has the Seibon VSII carbon fiber hood, and Konig Illusions.

Good Morning! It's been a while!

Good Morning! Hope it's going good for everyone. It's been such a long time since I've posted. I have been WAY to busy with school and work. But haven't forgotten about Goin Nice! I'm thinking about where I really want to take this, daily, and I don't think that I will be doing the actual online magazine thing anymore. I'm just going to keep on doing the blog posts, but will have those be the features. Just like I have been. So, stay tuned for Stance: WI, and Scion Exposed! I know they're late, but they're coming!

Scion Exposed & Street Life Tour!

Well guys, I got back home yesterday from Ohio. Exposed was so much fun! A bunch of Scions showed up, and there was drag racing, and DJs, and the Street Life Tour put on a big show with AMAZING cars and drifting!

Now this post isn't really about Exposed. You can catch that in the magazine, which by the way is soon to come.

I just wanted to post a couple photos from the drifting competition. My dad and I had just walked over to check it out quick before I hit the drag strip, and we showed up just in time to see this green S14 slam into the wall hard. He went into the grass and tried correcting and ended up going right up the bank into the wall. Poor car! The driver was alright though, so that's good!

Sorry about your car man, whoever you are.

 

and I just wanted to share a couple photos of my favorite car of the day. The Sikky 350Z, driven by James Evans. This thing was badass! Check it out going sideways!
